POSITION SUMMARY

Covered Insurance is a fast-paced fintech (insurtech) startup that's in search of a versatile and super creative marketing expert. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing marketing strategies across products and channels. Your day-to-day work efforts would range from developing content to launching social media campaigns to developing email marketing for partners - to name a few. You will be involved at the ground level of building our B2B2C brand, assisting sales and biz dev, help insurance agency achieve success, and launching partner programs while working with engineering and product teams to develop user experience and customer journeys.

This position will offer you an amazing experience of working with key players across the business and being at the forefront of a growth-focused organization. To be successful in this role, you must bring your high energy, your creative thinking, your willingness to learn on the fly, document new processes, and jump in and help cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders. Plus, your ability to be a little adventurous and make your mark on an up and coming Insurtech.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in execution of Marketing campaigns internally as well as externally with partners.
  • Develop marketing collateral for partners include sales collateral, training guides, email marketing etc.
  • Promote brand awareness through content creation, social media campaigns and other marketing platforms.
  • Assist business development teams in building sales collateral, proposals and help standardize product offerings to partners.
  • Design graphics such as mock-ups and other collateral as needed.
  • Create content such as educational videos, sales collateral, blogs etc. for websites, partners and social media platforms.
  • Maintain and update Covered Marketing site and blog regularly.
  • Develop and execute standardized Retention and Nurture campaigns.
  • Assist in optimization marketing programs and campaigns internally and externally.
  • Assist in standardizing marketing processes across the organization.
  • Bring best practices and be a functional digital marketing expert in the company.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Must Haves

  • Bachelors in Marketing, Communications or related degree
  • 5-6 years of marketing experience (digital)
  • At-least 3 years of Graphic Design experience specifically creating designs, video, graphics in Adobe Creative Suite
  • At-least 3 years of content creation experience
  • At-least 3 years of social media experience including but not limited to LinkedIn, FB, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok etc.
  • Experience with Hubspot or similar CRM system
  • Experience creating and building email marketing campaigns and working with softwares such as HubSpot, MailChimp
  • Proficient with Google Drive, Slack, Zoom etc.
  • Ability to multitask (afterall Marketing peeps are pros at this)
  • Organized, detail-oriented and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Experience as an individual contributor
  • Team player and collaborative mindset
