Covered Insurance Solutions (“Covered”) is a digital insurance marketplace that meets customers when and where they need insurance. With Covered, our partners across financial services, real estate, mortgage services and the auto industry can deliver multiple competitive quotes shopped from over 45 A-rated national and regional insurance carriers for their personal insurance needs.

Covered currently has over 40 A-rated national and regional insurance carriers - including insurance brands such as Travelers, Nationwide, Progressive and SafeCo. Covered continuously monitors the performance of all carrier partners. Check out our insurance carriers here.

Not quite, they are buying an insurance policy from the carrier of their choice - we are licensed and appointed by them to sell the policy to them. Customers purchase policies through Covered because they get all the perks of being a Covered customer. We provide support and advice on when to file a claim, along with regular insurance check-ups and automated shopping year-over-year to ensure your customers are always getting the best price!

Covered provides a best-in-class insurance experience for your customers! By simply integrating our digital insurance technology into your existing platform, you can improve your customer experience and retention while building an additional revenue stream.

We have automated the shopping process where we find competitive rates based on the customer’s submitted information and our network of over 40 A-rated national and regional insurance carriers. We always request quotes from as many carriers as possible and return as many quotes as possible to find the lowest rates. With every quote, we try to provide at least three carrier options on the quote display screen.

We always display the most cost-effective options based on answers provided. Previous coverage is an option that would be explored by the agent once a carrier is chosen. In addition, we display a “Covered Score”, a calculation of several common rating services, AM Best, BBB, Clearsurance and JD Power.

No - these fields are not required in order to generate a quote, but can be gathered to identify potential savings discounts (ex: Military/Veteran)

Covered offers a wide variety of personal insurance lines available upon integration. The suite of insurance offerings include home, auto, renters, flood, condo, motorcycle, boat, umbrella, life, pet and even commercial! As Covered grows, we are continuously building a larger suite of insurance products. More to come!

We ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations. We’re SOC 2 Type II certified, compliant with all applicable federal and state laws, including GBLA, REG P, RESPA & RFPA, and our experienced agents are all licensed insurance advisors. We regularly test security protocols. Users must approve which personal information can be shared and with whom. Partners and third parties work with Covered in accordance with applicable laws.

Covered offers 2 main implementation options to enable partners to offer insurance to their customers based on their needs.

The most common implementation, White Label Experience, is a holistic experience to shop and compare multiple insurance quotes in just a few clicks by leveraging a bridge out link to Covered’s proprietary quoting experience.

The other main implementation option is Covered’s API. This implementation type embeds insurance quoting and comparison capabilities directly in the partner’s digital experience. The partner is able to own the delivery of their customer’s experience and retain them within their workflow.

Covered does have a standard implementation process. Once a partner contract has been signed, we move into a structured implementation process with support from Covered’s dedicated Partner Implementation Team to understand key business processes, define marketing campaigns, design technical integration, and establish a geographic roll-out cadence. Our implementation process focuses on making decisions easily and structured, while engaging the right stakeholders.

There is a limited remarketing campaign that the prospect enters. Ultimately, if they choose not to buy from Covered after remarketing efforts, Covered will cease soliciting the prospect.

Covered will not sell to or share your customers' information with 3rd parties other than those required to provide the services requested (meaning we will share it with the insurance carriers for quoting, but won't sell leads who don't purchase a policy). Regarding the disposal of customer PII, currently we retain PII in our system following our campaigns, in accordance with our records management policy. We need to keep the information for several reasons including reporting, regulatory purposes, and maintaining a consistent customer experience for customers who engage after our marketing campaigns. We have a comprehensive and strict information security program in place and the retention/disposal of PII will be in compliance with our records management policy.

Partners are not charged to utilize Covered Insurance. In fact, in many cases partners can earn revenue from the use of Covered within their ecosystem. Covered gets paid a commission directly from the insurance carrier you select, just like any other independent insurance agent. Our insurance advisors are carrier agnostic. They are not influenced by any specific carrier - we are only here to help you find the right protection at a price that is right for you.

Credit scores/reports are never run. Some carriers pull soft inquiries (does not impact credit scores), but it is based on the carrier and many states have prevented carriers from running soft inquiries altogether.
