Minimum Base Salary: $170,000

Position Summary

An Engineering Talent Manager is a mentor and career guide for Engineering team members. This role does not have delivery responsibility, but may be invited by teams to facilitate or advise from time to time. An Engineering Talent Manager has displayable Senior Engineer capabilities, can actively contribute in a teaming session, and can mentor others in Covered Engineering practices.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assess, coach, and mentor employees in their individual professional growth
  • Provide performance feedback to employees
  • Continuously improve employee onboarding and the overall employee experience
  • Continuously improve employee engagement and employee satisfaction
  • Collaborate across PEG to identify growth opportunities for teams and individuals
  • Collaborate with Process Enablement to create and deliver content in support of people's growth and development

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent on-the-job experience
  • 5+ years of Engineering Management Experience; Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality code
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery principles, pipelines, and services
  • Experience in AWS or other cloud environments such as Azure or GCP
  • CI/CD tooling. i.e. Jenkins
  • Demonstrated sales aptitude and ability to meet sales objectives
  • Coding in one or more programming languages
  • Architecting and developing large scale systems in the cloud (AWS or other)
  • Proven working experience as Line Manager, Role Manager, or Personnel Manager
  • People oriented mindset and results driven
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of our organization

    • Must possess manual dexterity in order to work on a computer
    • Must have command of the English language to effectively communicate
    • Must be able to hear clients, partners, and internal staff
    • Opportunistic travel as may be required
